HC Deb 23 March 1899 vol 69 cc139-40
MR. SKEWES-COX (Surrey, Kingston)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, to name the boundaries of the London area under the Telephone Bill?

MR. HANBURY

The London area under the Telephone Bill will be the area defined in Part I. of the Second Schedule of the Agreement of 1896 with the National Telephone Company, which was printed in Parliamentary Paper No. 128 of last Session. It includes, among other places, the municipal boroughs of Richmond and Kingston-on-Thames, and the urban district of Surbiton.
