HC Deb 17 March 1899 vol 68 c1136
MR. DILLON (Mayo, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that in the county division of Bal-laghaderrin and Edmondstown, in County Roscommon, only two polling stations have been arranged for 1,405 voters, and that these have been so fixed that some voters will be obliged to travel nearly 10 miles to record their votes; and whether he will use his influence to secure the appointment of two more polling stations in this district?

MR. GERALD BALFOUR

The honourable Member's suggestion will be communicated to the Returning Officer for his consideration.
