Mr. Baldwin reported from the Committee on Group A of Private Bills, That the parties promoting the Horsforth Urban District Council (Water) Bill had stated that the evidence of Alfred Tomalin, Outfitter, of Nowlay Wood, Horsforth; of Timothy Newby, Fish Mer- chant, of Newlay Wood, Horsforth; of John Henry Wilkinson, Insurance Manager, of Villa Rosa, Calverley Lane, Horsforth; of Walter Nathaniel Walker, of Bank House, Horsforth; of Henry Doughty, Farmer, of White House Farm, Far Headingley, near Leeds; of John Nightingale, Surgeon, of Horsforth; and of George Robinson, Book-keeper, of Leeds, was essential to their case; and it having been proved that their attendance could not be procured without the intervention of the House, he had been instructed to move that the said Alfred Tomalin, Timothy Nawby, John Henry Wilkinson, Walter Nathaniel Walker, Henry Doughty, John Nightingale, and George Robinson do attend the said Committee upon Tuesday next, at half-past Eleven of the clock, and for as long as the said Bill shall be under the consideration of the Committee, and that the said John Nightingale do produce his books, papers, and memoranda whist Medical Officer to the Horsforth Urban District Council.

Ordered, That Alfred Tomalin, Timothy Newby, John Henry Wilkinson, Walter Nathaniel Walker, Henry Doughty, John Nightingale, and George Robinson do attend the Committee on Group A of Private Bills upon Tuesday next, at half-past Eleven of the clock, and for as long as the said Bill shall be under the consideration of the Committee, and that the said John Nightingale do produce the documents aforesaid.
