HC Deb 16 March 1899 vol 68 c1106
THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

I beg leave to move— That this House do now adjourn." I can only repeat that in consequence of the backward state of Supply I shall again to-morrow move the suspension of the Twelve o'clock Rule, because Votes 1, 14, and 15 of the Army Estimates must be obtained, if not more.

*MR. WEIR

Does the right honourable Gentleman intend to move for a Saturday Sitting to-morrow?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

That depends upon whether we get the Votes which I have just mentioned. If we do not get them we must have a Saturday Sitting.

MR. J. SAMUEL (Stockton)

I should like to know if the Second Reading of the Workmen's Dwellings (Acquisition of Holdings) Bill will be taken before Easter?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

No, Sir.

Motion agreed to.
