HC Deb 01 March 1899 vol 67 cc993-4
MR. J. REDMOND (Waterford)

I hope there will be no objection to this Bill being read a second time. Its object is to change the date for the commencement of partridge shooting from the 20th to the 1st of September, and so assimilate the law of Ireland with that of this country and of Scotland. The commencement of partridge shooting in Ireland is fixed on the 20th of September by an old Act of George III.

Bill read a second time, and committed for Monday next.
