HC Deb 29 June 1899 vol 73 c998
MR. EDWARD M'HUGH (Armagh, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can hold out any hope to depositors that the Charitable Loans (Ireland) Bill will be passed through Parliament before the close of the present session.

MR. G. W. BALFOUR

If this Bill is opposed I am afraid there is little hope that the Government will be able to pass it through Parliament before the close of the present session.
