HC Deb 27 June 1899 vol 73 c779
MR. DILLON

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been called to the great discontent which has been caused amongst the ratepayers of the Castlerea rural distract by the order of the Local Government Board making the charge for waterworks near Castlerea and Ballaghaderin a district charge; and whether under the circumstances he will advise the Local Government Board to reconsider its decision in this matter.

MR. G. W. BALFOUR

This question has reference to a class of case to which the hon. Member for South Mayo has directed my attention in a question to which I have just replied. My reply to the hon. Member for South Mayo is equally applicable to the present question.
