HC Deb 26 June 1899 vol 73 c601
MR. WILLIAM MOORE (Antrim, N.)

I beg to ask Mr. Attorney-General for Ireland whether the recent decision of Her Majesty's Court of Appeal in Ireland, in the case of Metge v. Justices of Meath, applies to prevent a variation of rents in the nature of rent-charges fixed under the Statute 3 and 4 Will. IV., cap. 57, sec. 142.

THE ATTORNEY-GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. ATKINSON,) Londonderry, N.

Assuming Chapter 57 of the Act mentioned to be a misprint for Chapter 37, the answer to this question is in the affirmative.
