HC Deb 23 June 1899 vol 73 c440
MR. HEDDERWICK (Wick Burghs)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the murderers of Yussuf Yunnan, the agent of the British Armenian Relief Fund, have yet been punished.

* MR. BRODRICK

It is understood that the fresh trial of the murderers of Yussuf Yunnan resulted in five of the accused being condemned to penal servitude for life and the remainder for nine years, but no confirmation of this report has been received.
