SULLIVAN (Donegal, W.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he has received a copy of a resolution lately passed by the District Council of Dunfanaghy, county Donegal, in which he is thanked for the interest he has taken in the development of railway communication in that county, and requested to expedite as far as possible the opening of the works on the Letterkenny and Burton Port line, with a view to affording employment to the labouring classes, which is much 1499 needed at this time; and whether he will be pleased to comply with the request of the Council in this matter.
§ MR. G. W. BALFOURI have received a copy of the resolution referred to in the question. I understand that the contractors for the line are on the ground to-day for the purpose of commencing work.
