ROBERT AMBROSE (Mayo, W.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he is aware that the Westport Commissioners have petitioned the Local Government Board to constitute them an urban sanitary authority; and whether the Local Government Board have come to any decision in the matter.
§ MR. G. W. BALFOURA petition of the nature referred to has been received by the Local Government Board, who have given instructions for the holding of a local inquiry into the matter, pending which no decision will be come to.
