GALLOWAYI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether Her Majesty's Government have yet come to any decision with regard to the new situation which has arisen in the Transvaal owing to President Kruger's rejection of the proposals for a settlement of the franchise question suggested by Sir Alfred Milner at the Bloemfontein Conference.
