§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE (Mr. LONG,) Liverpool, West DerbyThe cost of the relief given to the clerical owners of tithe rent-charge in the County of Surrey is estimated to amount to between £1,700 and £1,800, and the share of the administrative county in a sum of £87,000 distributed in the proportion of what are known as the "discontinued grants," is approximately the same amount.
