§ MR. PENN (Lewisham)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Admiralty how many the "Sharpshooter" has run on her boiler trials, how many tubes has she in her boilers, and how many tubes have been renewed during these trials.
MR. GOSCHENThe number of miles run on boiler trials, exclusive of distance run during contractors' trials, was 8,698. The number of tubes in boilers is 1,080. No tubes were renewed during these trials.
