SOAMES (Norfolk, S.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his attention has been drawn to the custom of attaching cradles with infants in them to barrel organs and piano organs in the streets of London; whether some time back instructions were given to the police to put a stop to this practice; and whether he will take steps to have those instructions carried out.
