§ MR. ARNOLD-FORSTERI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether any regiments have yet applied for permission to resume their historical facings; and, if so, whether they have received the desired permission, and under what conditions.
§ Mr. WYNDHAMThree regiments only have applied for restoration of their old facings, the Northumberland Fusiliers, the Yorkshire Regiment, and the Seaforth Highlanders. In each case the application has been granted. As I stated to the House on the 2nd of March, this alteration will apply to the tunic only.
