HC Deb 10 July 1899 vol 74 cc310-1
MR. WEIR

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether he is aware that some years back fishermen and others dependent on Portmahomack Harbour for the prosecution of their calling addressed a memorial to the Fishery Board for Scotland, fully setting forth the circumstances under which a grant in aid of the improvement of the harbour is required; and will the Secretary for Scotland call for that Memorial and give the points raised therein full consideration.

* THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. A. GRAHAM MURRAY,) Buteshire

The Secretary for Scotland is quite aware of the fact referred to by the hon. Member, but I have nothing to add to the reply I have already given to him on the 7th instant.
