§ MR. HOGAN (Tipperary, Mid.)I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the conference of representatives of the interests concerned in the future of the Imperial Institute buildings has now arrived at an agreement; and, if so, whether he is in a position to indicate its general purport.
§ SIR M. HICKS-BEACHI believe that the Committee appointed by the 310 University, the Institute, and the Treasury have now come to an arrangement which is mutually satisfactory. The terms will be at once submitted to the Senate and the Council for ratification, and as soon as this has been received they will be embodied in a Treasury Minute, which will be presented to the House.
