§ MR. MACALEESEI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland has he received a copy of a resolution passed by the Monaghan County Council respectfully asking for the withdrawal of a recent circular affecting the usefulness of industrial schools in Ireland; and if he, giving heed to this and other representations to the same effect, can advise the Lord Lieutenant to withdraw the circular in question.
§ MR. G. W. BALFOURI have received a copy of the resolution referred to in the first paragraph. In answer to the second paragraph, I have nothing to add to the replies previously given by me on this subject.
