§ SIR CHARLES DILKEI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home 32 Department if he has received a request from the Town Council of West Ham asking that action on the proposed division of wards might be indefinitely postponed, on the ground that the Council, by 25 votes to 11, takes a different view from that entertained by their predecessors; and what course he proposes to take.
