DAVITT (Mayo, S.)I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether any of the 300 treaties, and if so how many, entered into between the Royal Niger Company and kings and chiefs in West African territories, will be included in the promised Papers dealing with the abrogation of the company's charter and the purchase of its interests by Her Majesty's Government.

But a 24 complete list of the treaties and of the forms in which they are drawn is given in Hertslet's Map of Africa by Treaty, Vol. 1., pages 450–480—which is in the library, and a reprint of this section will be included in the Papers to be presented to Parliament.
