I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster-General, whether Mr. Cardin, the Comptroller and Accountant-General of the Post Office, has attained the existing regulations as to retirement the age of sixty; and if so, whether, under at that age, it is proposed to retain his services.
