§ That they have come to the following resolution, viz:—
§ Houses of Lords and Commons Permanent Staff,—"That it is desirable that a Joint Committee of both Houses of Parliament be appointed to inquire into the salaries of the Permanent Staff of both Houses of Parliament, and into the present method of appointment or nomination by any officer of either House; and to report what changes, if any, are suitable in respect thereto," to which they desire the concurrence of this House.
