HC Deb 21 April 1899 vol 70 c206
MR. STEADMAN (Tower Hamlets, Stepney)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster-General, whether he is able to give a reply to a memorial signed by the Tracing Staff of the Accountant-General's Department, presented to him early in January, praying for an alteration in the present leave system?

THE FIRST COMMISSIONER OF WORKS (Mr. AKERS DOUGLAS, Kent, St. Augustine's)

On behalf of my right honourable Friend, I have to say that the matter is under consideration, and the memorial will be answered very shortly.
