HANBURYThe information for which the honourable Member asks could not be furnished without a violation of the oath (or declaration) imposed under the Act of 1842 upon the Commissioners, assessors, and collectors of income tax, and also upon the officers of the Inland Revenue, who are concerned in the administration of the tax.
