HC Deb 13 May 1898 vol 57 c1216
DR. FARQUHARSON (Aberdeenshire, W.)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether the iron roof shutters on the north side of the Turner Room of the National Gallery, which is in actual contact with the canteen end of St. George's Barracks, have been removed, and the risk of danger by fire largely increased?

THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR

This Question should have been addressed to the First Commissioner of Works.
