HC Deb 09 May 1898 vol 57 cc693-4

The following Question appeared on the Paper— Mr. PICKERSGILL: To ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether there has been any increase of crime and violence in Egypt since the date of Lord Cromer's last Report.

On its being called,

MR. PICKERSGILL (Bethnal Green, S. W.)

said: This Question has been so emasculated at the Table without any communication with me that it is futile now to put it.
