I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether there are any towns in Ireland having town or township commissioners with a population under 1,500; and, if so, what towns they are?

MR. GERALD BALFOUR

According to the census of 1891 there were six towns in Ireland having town, or township, commissioners, with a population of less than 1,500. They are as follows: Antrim, Aughnacloy, Ballyboy, Gilford, Keady, and Tanderagee.
