I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Government will consider the advisability of appointing a Commission to inquire into and report upon the improvement in breeding live stock in Ireland; and whether an increased grant will be given for the purpose of improving the breeds of live stock in Ireland?

I cannot give any promise to deal with the matters referred to in the Question, in anticipation of the establishment of a Board of Agriculture for Ireland.
