§ SIR WILLIAM O. PRIESTLEY (Edinburgh and St. Andrews University)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether, in view of the report concerning a fresh outbreak of typhoid fever from eating oysters, he proposes in the near future to take steps which will, as far as possible, prevent oysters being supplied from polluted sources, and, while giving greater security to the public, will assist in rehabilitating the oyster industry?
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARDI am considering the question of legislation on this subject, but I cannot give any definite undertaking at present.
