§ MR. WILLIAM REDMONDI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government received any notice or explanation regarding the withdrawal of Germany and Austria from Crete?
MR. CURZONI have already answered the Question as regards Austria. The intention of the German Government under certain conditions to retire from Crete was communicated to Her Majesty's Ambassador at Berlin some time in advance.
