§ MR. JAMES O'CONNOR (Wicklow, W.)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade if his attention has been called to a letter from the High Sheriff of Dublin to the Corporation of that City in reference to recent transactions of the Irish Lights Board; whether he has read the Resolution moved by Mr. Jones at the meeting of the Dublin Corporation held on Monday last; and whether, in view of the general dissatisfaction which prevails in shipping and commercial circles in Ireland in regard to the present management of the Irish Lights Board, he will this Session introduce a Bill for the reconstruction of that body?

Any representations which the Corporation may be pleased at any time to make to me will receive my careful consideration. My answer to the last Question is in the negative.
