JORDAN (Fermanagh, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, seeing there is no reference to county infirmaries in the Local Government (Ireland) Bill, will he state his intentions in reference to the future position and administration of these useful institutions?
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURIf the Bill passes with reasonable speed through Committee, the Government will probably bring forward a clause dealing with county infirmaries. I am not, however, in a position at this stage to state what form our proposals, if made, will take.
