§ SIR JAMES FERGUSSONI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War why the new canteen at the Royal Military College, for which provision was made in the Estimates of 1897–8, has not been commenced, as stated in the Visitors' Report; and whether arrangements have yet been made to provide a recreation room for the numerous servants and soldiers employed in the establishment?
§ MR. BRODRICKThe new canteen is expected to be completed by the end of the present month. The question of the recreation room is postponed for consideration with next year's Estimates.
