SERJEANT HEMPHILL (Tyrone, N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what are the grants-in-aid out of the Exchequer referred to in Section 42 (ii.) of the Local Government (Ireland) Bill, and which are to cease on the passing of the Bill into law; and what are the respective amounts of those grants?

GERALD BALFOURI have already, in answer to a similar Question addressed to me on the 1st instant by the hon. and learned Member for North Dublin, given particulars of the Exchequer grants-in-aid which are to ceaso on the passing of the Bill. The respective amounts of these grants will be found in the Annual Estimates and Appropriation Accounts.
