§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIAThe sums of money which have been raised since the closing of the Indian Mints in June, 1893, by railway companies on a guarantee by the Secretary of State, amount to £6,663,051; and further sums raised in England, whether as share capital or on debentures, by railway companies which have agreements with the Secretary of State but have not received an actual guarantee, amount to £3,684,282.
