I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for what was the effective strength of horses of field and horse artillery together on the British establishment on the 1st of January of the present year, and what the number between six and 13 years old?

The horse and field artillery together had on the British establishment on the 1st January of the present year 4,204 effective horses, of which 3,095 were between the ages of six and 13 years.
