§ MR. MACNEILLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland when will the Report of the Irish Loan Fund Board for 1897 be presented and published, in accordance with statutory requirements; and what is the reason of the delay in its presentation and publication?
§ MR. ATKINSONThe Report of the Irish Loan Fund Board will be laid on the Table of the House in a day or two. The delay in presentation is due to the failure on the part of certain loan fund societies to forward abstracts of their accounts to the Board within the statutory period.
