§ MR. BRODRICKThe 266 non-commissioned officers and men forming the 3rd Battalion Coldstream Guards on 1st March, 1898, were made up as follows:—142 joined as recruits, 131 joined as transfers, making a total of 273, from which seven must be deducted for casualties.
