§ MR. W. REDMONDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what is the cause of the delay in putting the Scariff Waterworks scheme into operation; and whether he will communicate with the Local Government Board on the subject?
§ MR. ATKINSON (for Mr. GERALD BALFOUR)An examination, by the engineer, of the site of the reservoir for the waterworks showed that some alterations would be necessary in the original plans. When the amended plans have been furnished the Board will signify their approval of the scheme.
