HC Deb 14 June 1898 vol 59 c231
MR. CHANNING (Northampton, E.)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether the remaining Votes of Class II., except those relating to Scotland and Ireland, can be taken on Friday next?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

A special arrangement was made for next Friday in consequence of an appeal made from the other side of the House, and it would, I think, be inconvenient to make any change in the programme now.

MR. MCKENNA (Monmouth, N.)

What is the business for next Thursday?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

In all probability it will be the Benefices Bill.
