HC Deb 09 June 1898 vol 58 c1185
MR. SEELY (Lincoln)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether the War Office proposes to give any allowance to the wives of men who may be called out under the provisions of the Reserve Forces Bill now before the House?

MR. BRODRICK

Any married reservist called out under the Bill would have separation allowance for his wife and family, like any other soldier of the regular forces so separated from his family.
