YOXALL (Nottingham, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether the scheme of examination of the second division of the Civil Service is about to be changed; and, if so, whether this alteration will be accompanied by any change in the pay or prospect of present or future members of that division of the Civil Service?
§ MR. HANBURYYes, Sir; but, of course, I cannot state the exact effect of the scheme until it has been settled. I may say, however, that there is no intention of any reorganisation of the pay or constitution of the division.
