§ CAPTAIN DONELANOn behalf of the honourable Member for East Tipperary, I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether the site for the erection of a new post office for Clonmel has for some time past been selected; and, if so, when the building of the post office will begin?
§ MR. HANBURYOn the 27th of May last Treasury authority was given for the purchase of a site for a new post office at Clonmel, subject to satisfactory arrangements being made in regard to certain easements over the property. Negotiations with this object are in progress, but until they are completed it is impossible to state when the building will be begun.
