HC Deb 14 July 1898 vol 61 c958
MR. T. BAYLEY (Derbyshire, Chesterfield)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury when it is intended to take the Vote for the Privy Council Office; and whether he will undertake that an opportunity to discuss that Vote will be given?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

I am afraid I cannot fix any date for the discussion of the Vote, nor do I imagine it one of those Votes on which discussion is most required.

MR. T. BAYLEY

Then there will be no chance of discussing this Vote?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

I cannot say that, but there are other Votes which must have precedence.
