HC Deb 14 July 1898 vol 61 cc935-6
MR. DILLON

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any reply has been received from Colonel Chermside in reference to the report of Mr. Brailsford; and, if so, whether he will state the terms of the reply to the House?

Sir Herbert Chermside has only just received Mr. Brailsford's report on arrival in England. His observations, and those of the British naval and consular officers, will be communicated to Parliament when received.
