HC Deb 14 July 1898 vol 61 cc936-7
MR. DILLON

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Concert of Europe still exists, in regard to the settlement of Crete; and if not, what Powers are acting in concert in making the present proposals?

MR. CURZON

Great Britain, France, Italy, and Russia have acted together in making the proposals referred to, and have communicated them to Germany and Austria. The two latter have withdrawn their forces from Crete, but have not left the Concert of the Powers.
