HC Deb 12 July 1898 vol 61 c696
MR. YERBURGH (Chester)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the fact that some five years have elapsed since the Waima incident occurred, the Government can come to an early decision upon the question of giving a grant to the families of the slain, which it has been stated, is now under their consideration?

MR. CURZON

I have twice stated that the matter is under consideration, and that a decision will be arrived at as soon as possible.
