HC Deb 12 July 1898 vol 61 c687
MR. MASSEY-MAINWARING

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury if he will take the necessary steps so as to allow the collection of arms and the regalia at the Tower of London to be open to the public on Sundays during the same hours as the other public museums are open, subject to the same regulations as are in force upon week days at present at the Tower of London?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

In reply to my honourable Friend, I cannot at present say more than that inquiries are being made concerning the matter to which he calls my attention. I can make no definite statement or give any opinion as to the conclusions that may be based on these inquiries when they are completed.
