HC Deb 05 July 1898 vol 60 c1118
MR. J. P. FARRELL (Cavan, W.)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he can put down inside the coming week the Charitable Loans (Ireland) Bill for such a place that there would be a chance of its principles being discussed before being further proceeded with?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY

I cannot at present fix a day for this Bill, but I do not think that the time suggested by the honourable Gentleman would be convenient. Clearly we cannot have the time already allotted to the Irish Local Government Bill.
